Back in the summer of 2021, I had a chance to volunteer for a Toronto-based sketch company called Potato Potato during Toronto Fringe 2021. Their latest political sketch called You Can Do It, Put Your Mask Into It! is about the sarcasm of the pandemic at that time. I was their social media associate and with some knowledge about Instagram filters, I suggested they create one as an effective but unique promotional element to their campaign.

Design for other people
This was the first time that I have ever made a filter for other people. Therefore, it is important to listen to their feedback and change many times
Most of the graphics in these filters are done by Photoshop. I will then use Spark AR to connect and animate them with coding.
Filter Evaluation
Besides changing the graphics multiple times, I've made four demos video so that the team could pick the one that would be suitable for their campaign the most.
Final Product
#MaskedPotato is the final filter that we have picked out and used during the campaign promotion.
