As a filter creator with over 1-year of experience in the software, I decided to participate in this Spark AR competition called Spark AR Cyberware Challenge. By using the existing asset provided by the game developer of Cyberpunk 2077, I have come up with two products with the cyborg-inspired AR filters to enter the competition. Although I didn't make it to top 500, I have had so much fun while designing my products as well as made new friends within the Spark AR community. Fortunately later on, I was announced as the Alternate Winner for this contest, with the prize of $500 USD.
Role
Apart from the assets provided by the competition, I was in charge of coming up with the concept, designing and coding the filters.

About the Cyberware Challenge
Purpose
Spark AR Cyberware Challenge or Spark AR Cyberpunk 2077 Competition is sponsored by Meta (formerly known as Facebook.Inc) and other companies in the USA. All eligible creators are welcomed to join, by using the given Cyperpunk 3D assets to build up AR filters on the theme of "Cyberpunk".

1. Disadvantage of small creators
By using the engagement rate (impression, use, share rate), many other contestants earn more point by having a large number of followers.
2. Unique concept but limit usage
Despite the spectacular look, it is the audience that plays a vital role in scoring point for the creators. Therefore, a filter has to have a unique design but at the same time, remain the usability among the users
Most of the graphics in these filters (the neon light sign, mask, make-up) are done by Photoshop. I will then use Spark AR to connect and animate them with coding.
Elements for the filters
This is my work for one of submissions called cyber.vic with all the elements combined with blocks of codes by Spark AR.
Final Product
cyber.vic is my first attempt to this contest.With the determination to win, I apply the idea of victory to the concept.
After receiving some feedbacks from my friends, I decided to create my second filters for this competition called 404.error. And this filter comes out to be the one that becomes viral later on!
